Anna-Karin Björklund, LMFT #134309, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California, a dream specialist, and a published author. With a heart-centered embrace and years of experience in dream therapy, she guides clients toward authentic living, cultivating greater self-awareness and a deeper inner connection. She specializes in anxiety, authenticity, and self-compassion, and offers a holistic approach to therapy.

She has served as Board Chair of the International Association for the Study of Dreams and as a Dream Specialist with Miraval Life in Balance Spa. She is a published author and a member of Authors Guild. Often featured in the media as a dream specialist, she has appeared on Steve Harvey (NBC), Face the Truth (CBS), and Fox & Friends Weekend (Fox), and been featured on goop.com, mindbodygreen, and in magazines such as Orange Coast, Marie Claire UK, Money, Women’s Running, OMTimes, Dreamtime, and Yours.

She holds a master’s degree in counseling psychology from Argosy University in Orange, California, and a bachelor’s degree in tourism management from the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia. She is specialist in dream therapy, an EMDR-trained therapist, a certified Heartmath provider, and a certified yoga teacher. She has also completed Level 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

She has lived in five countries and has a broad international background as an aviation executive and journalist. After nearly two decades of experience in the healing field - as a dream specialist, therapist, coach, and meditation teacher, she has developed a deep appreciation for inner connection, higher awareness, authentic living, and dream explorations. She works with individuals and couples and offers a heart-centered approach to therapy.

She also holds inspirational talks and workshops where she works collaboratively with participants on illuminating inner explorations.

She has extensive experience working in substance use treatment centers (RTC, PHP, IOP), first responder healing centers, mental health programs, and holistic healing wellness centers.

She has a virtual private practice in Orange County and meets with clients from allover California. Her inspiration is to help all of us to listen more deeply, abide in peace, practice higher understanding, experience joy and infinite compassion, and live from a place of heart-centered awareness.

She is the author of three books:
