Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based therapeutic method that treats a wide range of mood and anxiety disorders. CBT helps you develop higher awareness of underlying beliefs, thoughts, and emotions, and helps you transform negative beliefs into more supportive beliefs, as you enhance your thoughts and behaviors - which is a practice that continues daily also outside of the therapy room, often with homework and practices for developing new healthy habits. CBT is designed to help you improve your life through healthy thinking and learning to respond in more harmonious ways. You will gently be guided to detect automatic thinking that may be causing disturbance in the background. CBT is very helpful for situations evolving in the present moment. CBT is often combined with other treatment methods, including Mindfulness, Meditation, Psychodynamic Therapy and EMDR.
